The service and its limits
Flecty records audio and can turn it into transcripts, journal entries, timelines and optional coaching. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review important facts against your original recording. Availability depends on your device, operating system, connectivity, service providers, storage and battery; uninterrupted recording, transfer or processing is not guaranteed.
You are responsible for having the rights and any required consent to record and submit content. Keep copies of information important to you. Product capabilities and plan availability can differ by app version and App Store region.
Subscriptions and one-time purchase
All-inclusive is an annual, automatically renewing subscription that includes Flecty cloud AI processing within the stated allowance. BYOK is a one-time app purchase for supported features using your own compatible AI-provider account and API key. Both paid plans include Apple Watch recording and eligible private iCloud sync. Watch access requires the paid entitlement to be synced from the paired iPhone.
The App Store purchase screen controls the actual regional price, billing period and available product. Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refund requests under its rules and applicable consumer law. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account subscription settings. A one-time BYOK purchase does not include provider credits or a promise of unlimited third-party service.
All-inclusive cloud allowance
The current All-inclusive plan includes 5,000 cloud transcription minutes per UTC calendar month. Successfully transcribed uploaded audio counts toward the allowance. By default, the app removes silence from the upload, so only the prepared audio duration is counted. If you choose full-audio upload, that full uploaded duration counts.
Recording, pausing, saving and replaying locally do not consume transcription minutes. Failed requests and valid cached retries do not add a second charge to the allowance. The allowance resets at the start of each UTC calendar month and unused minutes do not roll over. Further new cloud transcription can be unavailable after the monthly allowance is exhausted.
Free use
The free cloud route allows two successful new transcriptions per UTC day, measured per connection IP address, with at most one minute of uploaded audio for each recording. People sharing a network can share that limit. Failed requests do not consume a successful-use slot, and valid cached retries do not count as a new transcription.
The one-minute limit applies to the prepared audio for free transcription. It does not make the iPhone microphone stop after one minute. Longer uploads require an eligible paid route. Apple Watch recording requires BYOK or All-inclusive.
Your own AI provider
With BYOK, you supply an OpenAI or OpenRouter API key and audio/text is sent directly to the selected provider. You are responsible for the provider account, usage fees, service terms and data policies. Flecty’s app purchase and cloud allowance do not pay for BYOK usage.
Flecty does not impose its cloud-transcription minute allowance on BYOK requests, but the provider may enforce its own billing, model, rate, file-size or availability limits. You can remove or change your key in app settings.
Personal reflection, not medical care
Timelines, writing styles, coach suggestions and optional Apple Health context are for personal reflection. They do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring or professional healthcare advice. Flecty reads only available authorized samples and does not infer missing measurements or continuously monitor vital signs. Consult a qualified professional for medical concerns.
Privacy and your content
You retain your rights in the content you record or submit. Using AI processing sends the necessary audio or text through the route you select. Optional iCloud sync, location and Apple Health access work as described in the Privacy Policy. Your content and requests must comply with applicable law and the relevant service-provider terms.
Applicable law and data requests
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. To request deletion or an export of your data, email team@yez.llc. Yez, LLC receives and handles these requests by email as described in the Privacy Policy.
Test credentials are limited to authorized test environments and are not accepted by production services. They do not establish a production purchase.
Apple Standard EULA also applies
The Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the App Store app, including its license and external-service provisions. These service terms describe Flecty’s plans and operation alongside that agreement. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
